Service Description
In this intermediate beginner, single-session class, you'll learn how to sew a timeless and functional tote bag from start to finish. You’ll need to have basic experience with a sewing machine: threading, backstitching, sewing straight seams, following seam allowances, and experience with measuring, cutting, and following basic pattern instructions. We'll guide you through the steps of creating your bag from beginning to end. Perfect for everyday use, this classic tote is both practical and stylish, and can be customized to suit your taste. Whether you're looking for a reusable shopping bag, a book tote, or a simple carryall, you'll leave with a finished bag and the skills to make more on your own. All materials provided, or bring your own fabric for a personal touch. Materials: 2/3 yard for exterior - quilting cottons or similar weight 2/3 yard for lining - quilting cottons or similar weight 1/4 yard for straps
Cancellation Policy
All cancellations and transfers to other classes must be made at least 48 hours in advance. Transfer of payment from one class to another will be made based on availability. All refunds are subject to a 3% processing fee. Refunds and transfers must be requested by emailing sewistginger@gmail.com. No refunds or credits will be provided if you notify us less than 48 hours in advance. By registering for this class, you are agreeing to this cancellation policy. No shows for class and/or notice after class will result in forfeiting of registration.
