Service Description
This fun, creative camp lets students sew their own stuffed animals and/or decorative pillows while building sewing skills appropriate to their experience level. Campers will learn basics like cutting, stitching, stuffing, and simple construction techniques, all while bringing their imaginative designs to life. Taught by Julie, a patient and enthusiastic sewing teacher who loves helping students turn ideas into cozy, cuddly creations. If student's are new to sewing, they will need to take a Kid's Beginner Workshop before attending camp. All camps follow the Sewciety Kids curriculum, a time-tested, fun, engaging, and confidence-building program, with clear step-by-step projects, colorful visuals, and age-appropriate challenges. We also maintain a low teacher-to-student ratio, allowing for plenty of individual attention so each child gets the support they need to succeed, stay encouraged, and enjoy the sewing process. Cancellation Policy
A $100 non-refundable deposit is required at the time of registration to secure your camper’s spot. Registration is not considered complete until the deposit has been received. After registration, you will receive an invoice for the remaining camp balance. The full remaining balance is due three (3) weeks prior to the first day of camp. Payment instructions and due date will be clearly listed on your invoice. Payment Deadlines If the remaining balance is not paid by the due date, your camper’s spot may be released and offered to another participant. We are unable to hold spots without payment. Cancellation Policy: If your child is registered for a camp they cannot attend, the following cancellation policy applies: 1. If and only if we are notified at least 7 days prior to the start of camp that your child cannot attend AND we can fill your child’s spot, you may receive a full refund minus a small transaction fee. 2. If we are notified at least 7 days prior to the start of camp that your child cannot attend, but we are unable to fill your child’s spot, you may receive a credit for a future class/camp or you may switch your child to a different week if there are spots available. 3. If we are notified less than 7 days before camp, no refund will be given unless the camper’s spot is filled. If filled, a refund will be issued minus the $100. Considerations are made for extenuating circumstances.
